Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

You give us information in two ways:

A. When you submit the "Free Site Survey" form

• Full name — to address you correctly.
• Phone number — so we can call you back with the survey booking.
• Email (optional) — if you prefer written quotes.
• Average monthly electric bill — to size a system that matches your usage.
• Service you're interested in (off-grid, on-grid, hybrid, etc.).
• How you heard about us (optional) — helps us understand which channels bring real Cebu customers.
• Free-text notes (optional) — anything else you tell us about your roof or outage situation.

B. Automatically, when you load this site

• IP address — logged on form submit for spam and rate-limit purposes.
• User-agent string — same reason.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising tracker on this site. The site does not load scripts from any third party other than jQuery, Bootstrap (both open-source CDNs with integrity checks) and Cloudflare Turnstile (the bot challenge on the form).

2. Why we collect it (purpose)

Every piece of information we ask for has one purpose: to give you a useful quote for a solar system that fits your home or business. We do not profile you, we do not score you for credit, and we do not sell your data.

The base legal ground under RA 10173 is that you, by submitting the form, give us consent to contact you about solar services. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see §6).

3. How we store it

• Submissions land in a SQLite database on our own server (no third-party CRM, no SaaS lead-routing tool).
• Access is restricted to authorized staff with login credentials.
• The server is HTTPS-only; passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt), never plain text.
• We retain lead records for up to 12 months from your last interaction, then we delete them. If you become an active installation customer, we keep your records for the duration of the warranty period instead.

4. Who we share it with

Almost no one. Specifically:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — their Turnstile widget validates form submissions as human vs. bot. Their privacy policy applies only to that verification, not to lead data.
• No advertisers. No data brokers. No analytics platforms.
• We will disclose data to Philippine authorities only when legally compelled under a valid court order.

5. Cookies and your browser

This site does not set cookies. We do use two small pieces of browser storage, which behave locally only:

• sessionStorage — remembers your monthly-bill input from the calculator so the form pre-fills. Cleared when you close the tab.
• localStorage — remembers if you've dismissed the "Have a roof in mind?" toast or the signup-restore prompt, so we don't show it again. Cleared if you clear your browser data.

These are conveniences, not tracking. We never read identifiers from other sites, and we never write anything a different site could read.

6. Your rights (RA 10173)

You have the right to:

• Access — ask what we hold on you.
• Correct — ask us to fix anything wrong.
• Erase / delete — ask us to delete your lead.
• Object — opt out of any marketing.
• Withdraw consent — same effect as asking us to delete.
• File a complaint — with the National Privacy Commission if you believe we've mishandled your data.

7. Keeping this policy current

If we change anything material (a new data category, a new processor, a new retention period), we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, post a notice on the site homepage for 30 days.
