Terms of Service
By using solarconceptcebu.com or engaging SolarConcept Cebu for a solar installation project, you agree to the following terms. We've kept them short and written them in plain English where possible. If anything is unclear, ask before you sign a quotation: solarconceptcebu@gmail.com.
1. Use of this website
The content on this site (text, photos, calculator logic, blog posts) is owned by SolarConcept Cebu or used with permission. You may read it, share it, and quote it with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale, scrape it, or republish the project photos without our written okay.
We try to keep everything accurate — pricing ranges, kilowatt yields, payback estimates — but figures change (panel prices, electricity rates, VECO rules). The site is informational; the binding document is the signed quotation.
2. Quotes and proposals
- Every estimate posted on the site (calculator, package cards, blog examples) is indicative only. A firm price requires an on-site survey.
- A "Free Site Survey" booking is a request for a visit — it does not commit either side to a sale.
- The signed Proposal/Contract is the binding agreement on price, scope, timeline, and warranty. It supersedes anything on this website.
3. Installation and warranty
- Warranty terms (panel, inverter, battery, workmanship) are itemised in the signed contract.
- Warranty assumes normal operating conditions and excludes damage from typhoons beyond design wind load, improper electrical work by others, or acts of God.
- Net-metering approval is processed by VECO/electric district; we cannot guarantee their timeline, only that we file the paperwork correctly and follow up.
4. Payment
Typical payment milestones are spelled out in your contract (commonly: down-payment on signing, progress payment on material delivery, balance on commissioning). We don't start work on the next milestone until the prior payment clears.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- Cancelling before we order materials: refund of any down-payment minus a small admin fee to cover bank/transaction costs.
- Cancelling after materials are ordered or delivered: the materials cost is non-refundable; we'll return any unopened, undamaged items to the supplier if possible.
- Cancelling after installation has started: pro-rated refund based on work completed.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed under Philippine law, our total liability for any claim arising from this site or our services is capped at the amount you have paid us for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, lost productivity, etc.).
7. Your data
How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be resolved first through good-faith discussion; failing that, in the courts of Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. The terms in force at the time you signed your contract stay in effect for that contract.
